Inlet Torus and Nozzle Ring for a Steam Turbine
This geometry consists of several small blades equally spaced circumferentially inside a toroidal housing. The case presents a challenge to grid generation efforts due to very disparate length scales. CENTAUR was used to automatically mesh this geometry with only minimal input required from the user. Fluid flows in through both ends of the housing and out through a right-angled bend past the blades.
